The spacious floor plan offers 1,325 square feet of total living area just steps from Sanibel’s world class beaches. The Loggerhead Cay community is a preferred location for many first-time and repeat visitors alike. The development is located on East Gulf Drive, close to the Causeway and everything Sanibel has to offer. The common area showcases an oversized heated pool, tropical landscaping, tennis and more. The beach is just a leisurely walk through the native landscaping, then down the short boardwalk.

Loggerhead Cay is adjacent to the shared-use bike paths, and is a great spot for some of the best sunrises, shelling, fishing, wading or swimming on the West Coast of Florida. The roomy master suite features a king bed, bright open spaces and plenty of storage space. The master bedroom has a large closet, and an en-suite private bathroom.

The en-suite master bathroom has a tub for relaxing, a vanity and plenty of lighting.

The guest bedroom features two twin beds, and beachy, island colors and textures perfect for kids or guests. The guest bath is decorated in a complimentary style to the master bath, but features a walk-in shower.

This unit is also equipped with the latest key-less entry "smart-lock" technology. This new key-less smart lock feature will offer the option to check-in directly to the property. Our Memorial Day week stay at Loggerhead Cay

"This was our 2nd time staying at loggerhead & it was great both times. My daughter visited us for a couple of days &’even though she was wheel chair bound she had easy access to the beach. Furnished with everything we needed for our stay. We had a great time!

"Great spot close to the beach. Nice big pool. Was great having beach chairs available so we did not have to pack them. Sanibel is a lovely spot.

"We were able to check in before 4:00 PM which was very helpful. Complex plus units looked great considering the recent devastating storms. Condo was in great shape. Well stocked kitchen and linens. Great renovation but shower and bath stalls not yet upgraded. If this were done, the unit would be perfect. Rental agency personnel very helpful and courteous. WE signed on again for the same two weeks next year.

Sanibel - Christmas 2024 - Loggerhead Cay # 474

"This was my first trip back to Sanibel since hurricane Ian in 2022. The island will still be in recovery mode for the foreseeable future. Our unit, other than a very limited view, was perfect for the four of us. It had all the necessities of being at home. It was also a very big and spacious 2 bedroom condo. I would stay there again if it's available for my next trip to the island!

"Being natives of Indiana, we lacked a clear understanding of the magnitude of Hurricane Ian's damage to Sanibel Island. And our desire to return to one of our favorite vacation destinations compelled us to pursue a visit as soon as we were permitted.
Two years after the devastation inflicted by Ian, our trip proved to be far from disappointing. And our stay at Loggerhead Cay #474 was a big factor in that satisfaction.
We were very pleased with Unit #474, especially after knowing of the efforts required to bring it back to service for occupancy.
As first time renters after two years, there were some details that needed tweaked, but the rental staff was very accommodating in meeting our needs.
The Sanibel community is still heavily engage in rebuliding, and will be for a long time, but we were glad to be back.
