Loggerhead Cay 434 is a fourth-floor vacation rental condo on Sanibel Island. Loggerhead Cay #434 is one of those rare units that has it all! The condo is meticulously maintained, updated, and is loaded with extras! This beautiful condo features new furnishings, a new king-sized bed in the master suite, a full size bed and a bunk bed with two twin beds. There's also a sleeper sofa in the living room for a total occupancy of 6 people, perfect for families. Loggerhead #434 was also recently improved with new paint, silverware, linens, fixtures, vanities, and mirrors. This light and bright top floor condo really bring the Island experience to life.

And if you like in-room entertainment you won't be disappointed. The condo has 3 flat-screen TV's, a computer desk, board games, books, and more! Add cable TV, free high-speed Wi-Fi and DVD player.

The Loggerhead Cay resort is located on the desirable east end of the Island, directly on the sandy beaches of Sanibel! The resort common areas feature tennis courts, a large, heated pool, shuffleboard, outdoor grilling, and more. For those who like the outdoors and exploring the island, Loggerhead Cay unequaled access to bike paths, the causeway, the fishing pier, historic Lighthouse Park, and much more. If safety and indoor air quality is a concern, there is no better choice than Loggerhead Cay #434. the condo is outfitted with a complete HVAC Ultraviolet light system that sterilizes moving air throughout the air conditioning ductwork. The UV light unit is installed in the return air duct and cycles on with the fan and has been proven effective in improving airborne air quality, killing bacteria and airborne pathogens! The condo also offers a contact-free check-in option, by using our recently upgraded keyless entry system.

"We had a fabulous time in Sanibel, our ninth time here and it didn’t disappoint.
Our apartment was beautiful, spacious and welcoming.
It had everything we needed for our stay and some extras too.
It was convenient for many of the restaurants. The pool was fabulous. Communication with select rentals was very good and I would definitely stay at Loggerhead Cay again and book with Sanibel Vacations.
One thing I would have like was to have a welcome pack, with maybe some water, bread and butter.
We travelled from England and it was late by the time we arrived at the apartment and a welcome pack would have been ideal.

"We were family of 4. Spotless and clean, super amount of space, washer and dryer, elevator, beach chairs, umbrellas, and beach cart to carry it, all within 2-3 min walk to beach. Included weeks worth of detergent for laundry, full bar soap, tp, dishwasher tabs, included beach towels, fully stocked kitchen. We packed lighter than any trip we have been on and even came home with clean clothes and no laundry to do at home. You can even step out front door, sip coffee, and see both sides of ocean on each side of island to check the waves. Best condo we have been in. And island is restoring well. Lots of restaurants open.

"Overall, we had a great stay. This was a rather last minute booking since we were supposed to be going on a cruise and due to COVID issues, made the decision to postpone and go to Florida instead.

This was our second trip to Sanibel and we have a 2-week stay booked for the Spring. The Loggerhead Cay condo was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. We were pleasantly surprised how well stocked it was. Finding the beach cart in the second bedroom closet was a bonus find and came in handy!

The condo community is well kept and the landscaping is beautiful. We loved the beach and the pool and used both daily. The guests we met were very nice and friendly which contributed to making our winter vacation very pleasant.

We had a maintenance issue in the master bathroom which was addressed immediately. The property management office was responsive to our report and the maintnence person was friendly and acccommodating.

Our only complaint is the mattress/box spring in the master bedroom. Simply turning over in the bed woke us up. The bed was not uncomfortable but definitely had some issues. Any amount of motion on the bed resulted in a loud, annoying noise. This was frustrating to both of us since we were looking forward to some relaxation and rest. We found we did not sleep very well for the entire week.

Other than the issue with the mattress, our winter vacation was excellent.

"This was our third time staying at this property although it has been ten years since our last stay. It's in a great location on the grounds and the top floor means no noise from above. We had a great time and the condo was in great shape. This is a fabulous family place!!

"We keep coming back to the condo at Loggerhead Cay every year because it is truly our home away from home. It is a short walk to the beach and to the pool. We eat dinner on the screened in balcony and can see the spectacular colors of the sunset over the gulf. The new keyless entry is fantastic! It was so great not having to worry about bringing a key to and from the beach each day. We will be back again next year!!

Quiet and beautiful

"Our family had a peaceful vacation. The pool is amazing and if you enjoy lap swimming, then this is your pool. The condo is quiet, all are respectful, and there is plenty to do- tennis, shuffleboard, pickle ball, bike rental and lots of walking. The condo was spacious and very clean.

"We Have been going to Sanibel for many years and have stayed at Loggerhead in several units. This condon had everything needed for your stay. Beach towels, beach gear, pack and play crib for babies and cooking tools for outdoor grilling located on the property.
If anything the beds could be upgraded in the near future. We would stay in this unit again.

"We stayed at Loggerhead Cay 434 and loved it! Very clean, updated condo with everything you need: beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, cart to carry everything to beach, etc... The kitchen is well equipped and there is also a washer & dryer.
Short walk to beach, and a variety of restaurants and shopping places close by.
Select vacation properties staff were friendly and accommodating. Loggerhead Cay is a very nice complex, quiet and relaxing. I highly recommend staying here.

"What we see in the picture and described is what we see in the actual. Brightly lit, Clean and well maintained unit. We picked the right place to stay in Sanibel. the kitchen completed with many pots, pans and plates, we never run out of pot or plates after a meal. I would recommend this place. The night rate is also lower than similar unit in the area. I would like to comment on the good service given to us, Chris from Select Vacation, whom I dealt with was very helpful, as we had to check out early from our first stay (we couldn't get late check out as there might have guest coming after our check out), we were able to get very early check in without hassle. He also gave us late check out. When we had problem with the internet connection, the agent (Select Vacation) promptly sent somebody to fix it.

"was able to book this condo last minute. Loved that it had carpet in family room and bedrooms opposed to tile throughout. close to beach, not noisy (I was here in off season). some light bulbs out and fixture about table very dusty, but these are minor complaints. I suggest to owners to get rid of dining room hutch - wasted space. And get a table that seats 6. Nice assortment of comfy living room furniture and decent master bedroom mattress. Might also consider a master bath renovation. also really appreciated all the beach equipment, cooler bag etc. Lovey place.

"The unit was clean, well stocked with linens and kitchen fully equipped. A fourth floor unit away from the pool and elevator is more quiet. The King size bed was firm and comfortable. The pull out couch is uncomfortable to sit in. The pool is heated and the salt filtration is softer on your skin and clothing, than chlorine. The parents of preschool children tended to ignore the adult only swimming time - a more prominent sign would be helpful. Sanibel is incredibly cycle friendly and most drivers are courteous. The roads are quite congested between 3 - 5:30 PM - even in January. In summary this was a great month and we are already booked for 2016!! Select Vacation staff were prompt, friendly, and courteous.
