Shell Island Beach Club 7B is a vacation rental condo on Sanibel Island. A wonderful spot to enjoy your stay in this great beach condo surrounded by a lush tropical landscape that offers a breathtaking beachfront view of the Gulf of Mexico. 7B has a screened lanai, fully equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, sleeps 6, washer/dryer, a stereo system, covered parking, and wireless internet available. This condo is outfitted with a complete HVAC Ultraviolet light system that sterilizes moving air throughout the air conditioning ductwork. The UV light unit is installed in the return air duct and cycles on with the fan, and has been proven effective in improving airborne air quality, killing bacteria and airborne pathogens! Take advantage of the heated pool, tennis, bicycles, shuffleboard, hot tub, sauna, and gas grill all on-site. Sanibel Island is truly a tranquil experience and Shell Island Beach Club a terrific spot. This property does not offer an elevator.

Beautiful location in comfortable unit

"Sanibel Island a special place and even though this property was in a development still in recovery, being able to watch the sunrise every morning and see the Gulf was truly a gift. The unit was well appointed and had the necessary paper goods and cleaning supplies in stock. Loved being able to run or walk along the sidewalks/recreation path that winds around the entire island. My only issue was the heating/cooling thermostat panel, which needed new batteries (they were supplied) every few days, but the HVAC was being updated after my stay.

"Shell Island's 7-B Condo was exactly as its picture suggests, including a large lanai that has panoramic views of the Gulf. The rental is very comfortable for four adults, and had comfortable beds and a rain forest shower for two in the master bedroom. The parking space requires a bit of trial and error (or you can use guest spaces about 50 feet away). The overall property is still recovering from several major storms, but the beach and the charm of the island make up for some minor inconveniences.

"We really enjoyed Shell Island Beach Club! The location was wonderful and the grounds well cared for. The view is lovely, the pool was very clean,
Our unit 7B was comfortable and clean. Loved having a chaise lounger on the porch.
A few negatives, 2 of the porch chairs had rusted legs, the silk plants on the porch are falling apart, only a few washcloths, king size bed had a queen size top sheet, no cookie sheet, and the pot and pans are quite used. Minor complaints but easy to fix.
I would definitely return.

"I was so excited to step into this rental and see the gorgeous view! We enjoyed the sunrise every morning as well as sitting on the balcony for meals. The layout is great with the kids room and kitchen at the front and then the master in back facing the ocean. The kitchen is adequate for light cooking, has plenty of pans and utensils but the knives barely cut anything. The best part of this rental is the pool and beach. The pool was large and heated very warm. My kids were able to swim daily in cool January temps. We enjoyed the property very much...especially the gopher tortoise that lives near the pool. We did not lounge and watch tv as we spent all our time outdoors or doing virtual leaning. The couches are not the most comfortable and the washing and drying machines are crazy loud, but we appreciated having them in unit! We had a wonderful week in Sanibel and overall very happy with the rental.

"We have stayed 6 times at this condo complex and 4 of the times have been in this unit. We are always pleased with our stay. We love this end of the island. It's near the lighthouse and the pier. We walk to the pier each evening to watch the sunset. It's also within walking distance of Lighthouse Café (our favorite place to eat) and Pinocchio's Ice Cream. We would highly recommend this unit/condo complex to others.

"We adore Shell Island Beach Club! We've been there several times. This unit is individually owned and is not part of the time share. It was decorated beautifully, and there were extra personal touches and equipment that it made the whole week so much more enjoyable. The kitchen had plenty of cooking utensils and lots of counter space. The master bath was well laid out and very elegant! There were a few beach towels available, and some shell collecting nets. All in all, we had everything we could hope for.

The pool at this resort is one of the main reasons that we keep coming back. It's gorgeous, well maintained and the perfect temperature. You can hang out in the pool for hours, or sit under the umbrellas on the lounge chairs. There is a short boardwalk that takes you to the beach. We really relaxed, and our biggest decisions each day were, "Do you want to walk left or right?" Do you want to swim first or walk the beach?" And "Where do you want to go to dinner tonight?"

Select Vacation Properties did an efficient job with communication and were responsive. Top notch! We'd definitely rent here again. These units are best for four people. I think with six (using the sofa bed in the living room) it would be crowded. Can't wait to go back!

"We rented this unit for more room as we had additional guests coming in for my wifes' birthday. We own 2 weeks at this resort already, so knew what we were getting. Unit was very clean and well appointed, no complaints at all!! The only thing I could mention is the cleaning people showed up about 45 mins before our official checkout time, but we were about ready to leave anyway.

"Shell Island Beach Club 7B is a gorgeous unit, looking over lush gardens with a view of the gulf. The unit appears to be recently updated with a newer kitchen and 2 updated baths. "We spent 2 weeks here end of January. It was our first time to Sanibel. This 2nd floor condo had a great view of the ocean. It is located in a small condo community called Shell Island Beach Club. It is on the east side of the island and thus less traffic. The pool was a great temperature. We enjoyed playing pickle ball every day. There are free bikes always available to borrow. We would definitely rent at Shell Island again and even this unit IF they get a new bed. Maybe I'm picky but it was too hard. Otherwise all over great experience.

Beautiful Condo

"The condo was beautiful, clean and included everything needed for a long weekend stay. We originally booked a different condo back in February but we were notified a couple weeks before our trip that it was under construction and we would have to stay at a different location. The staff at Select Vacation Properties were very helpful, but the choices we were given did not match up to our original selection. Everything turned out fine, and we all had a wonderful time.

"This unit is tastefully furnished, clean and is just steps away from the pool and the beach. My only suggestion is that the owners clear out the beach toys in the closet in the bedroom with the twin beds to accommodate guest clothing and other items they might wish to store during their stay.

"Great location and plenty of fun. We enjoyed the pool, tennis court and shuffle board. Fantastic shelling and beautiful beach just steps away. The condo is well equipped and very clean and comfortable. Drive, bike or walk through Ding Darling nature preserve...lots to see. Make sure you eat at the Island Cow for dinner and The Lighthouse Cafe for breakfast. One week is not long enough!

"This was our third year staying at Shell Island Beach club and this was one of the nicest units we have stayed in so far. Recently renovated, great kitchen and bathrooms. Very comfortable furniture. No unit at Shell Island is far from the beach, but this unit had great views of the beach, sun rise and sun set from the lanai. We enjoy the unit so much that we re-booked the same week for next year. It is a great spot for a family vacation.
