Loggerhead Cay 224 is a fourth floor vacation rental condo on Sanibel Island. Loggerhead Cay #224 managed by Select Vacation Properties~ This condo at Loggerhead Cay will spoil the whole family. Smart TV's, high-speed internet, a fabulous view, and beautiful grounds, one of the largest swimming pools on Sanibel, tennis courts, and all the comforts of home. That morning cup of coffee from the large lanai overlooking the pool and beach will seem extra special from Loggerhead Cay 224. Convenient to the bike path, restaurants, shopping, and the causeway, Loggerhead Cay seems off the beaten path but its location and beautiful courtyard make it a real gem.

"We enjoyed our stay in #224 Loggerhead. Very clean, adequately equipped kitchen (although kitchen layout was difficult - we kept clogging in the corner) and comfortable beds. Both bathrooms were small, but honestly, who spends a lot of time in them! :) Elevator was fast, grounds and complex kept nicely. Although i would say - they need to wash the trash cans out by the beach wash off stations at least once a week. There is a "stench of death smell" as you're trying to clean off from the beach. We loved the big pool, never felt crowded. Easy walk to the beach from building #2. No noise from construction or other guests, aside from the occasional scrapping of chairs - folks need to be aware of their movements and surroundings better ;)

"This condo is very well appointed. Location is excellent and the beds are very comfortable. Unit was clean and towels were fresh. We appreciated the items in the beach closet like chairs, pickleball Ian’s tennis equipment and sunscreen. The beach is beautiful. Easy access with a combination lock, which is so nice not to have to keep track of a key.

"Spacious condo with views of pool and beach. Very clean and beach decor. The kitchen had everything you will need. We like going to the farmers market and cooking in. There even was a salad spinner! Also enjoyed the electric citrus juicer. There are beach chairs and umbrella, beach towels and toys. The linens and towels are soft and luxurious. You won’t be disappointed with this condo. Select Vacation Properties is always great to work with and responds to concerns.

"We absolutely loved our stay at loggerhead cay #224.
A very comfortable apartment with a view of the pool, gardens and beach. A short walk to the beach allowed us to go in the early morning and evening to watch the sunset. The location is great. This was our 4th visit to sanibel, each time staying at a different place for variety, but I think I would like to stay at loggerhead again.

"My wife and have made this a yearly trip for the past few years renting the same property on the same week. Our experience has been so positive we see no reason to go elsewhere and have already booked next year. Year to year improvements have been made to the property, ALL of the staff at Select Vacations has been great to deal with over the years. The location itself is fabulous. If you are looking for a no nonsense quiet get a way with an ocean view this is the place, yet it is still close to the many attractions in the area. I highly recommend this company and it’s property we keep booking ahead so we don’t lose out. As an aside during the height of the recent pandemic we were unable to make it to our booked time on very short notice. Instead of just taking our money select vacations allowed us to defer to the following year at the same rate. That sold us for good , wish I could say the same for the airline that hosed us.

"Condo was nice. Kitchen was great. Lots of chairs and an umbrella to use. The condo complex was not kid friendly. Adult swim from 8-9 and 4-5. The grills are far from the condo and not working great.

"We really enjoyed our stay here - beautiful beach and nice pool. The unit itself is large, and we enjoyed it. Has most everything you need. It could use a bit of updating - new carpet or tile floor, new towels (a bit discolored), new pillows - theirs were a hodgepodge, most were flat and smelled old. I know that all sounds like it is a bad place - it isn't. It was good, just needs a facelift in some areas.

Bit of paradise.

"Our vacation rental experience was seamless. Loved the keyless entry so our vacation could start immediately as we crossed over the bridge to Sanibel. Location was perfect, with gorgeous view of ocean and pool. Our condo was super clean. Amenities were generous. Plenty of linens, samples selection (laundry detergent, dish detergent, dish soap, paper towels, toilet paper, garbage bags, hand sanitizer, countertop cleaner). It prevents you from having to go to the grocery store for a couple of days. There were beach toys, chairs, umbrellas also available. I have never rented where beach towels were available. Wow! More room in my suitcase for souvenirs. I plan to return and have already shared the info with my neighbor who is planning a trip to Sanibel. The resort is well maintained and just lovely overall. Very quiet too, which is a rarity. I'm a light sleeper and usually am wakened by the slightest noise. This trip and these accommodations was exceptional. I highly recommend.

"My husband and I spent April 10th throught April 17 on Sanibel Island. We have been a few times. This was first time renting a condo. We really enjoyed the location. The condo was clean and fully stocked. My only suggestion would be to possibly update the couch. It was uncomfortable to sit on let alone lay on but that would be my only complaint. Great locaton.

"We had a wonderful stay in Unit 224. The condo is decorated in a tasteful, relaxing style, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The management company was a dream to work with from start to finish and made me feel very cared for! The view is wonderful, maybe better than the pictures show. We have stayed at Loggerhead Cay four times and enjoy the property's location and landscaping--it's beautiful. We will try to stay in this unit for our next trip to Sanibel.

Great condo on the fourth floor

"This is a great condo, clean, well equipped and beautiful view. Keep in mind that it is on the fourth floor which elevates the view but makes running back and forth to the beach and common areas more of a challenge. There is an elevator as well as stairs.

A Perfect Condo

"We rented this unit for a week during Christmas. The unit was absolutely perfect. It was clean, well stocked, and everything was in great condition. The beds, in both rooms, were very comfortable. The condo was within minutes walking distance to the beach. This was our first trip to Sanibel and we enjoyed the island. We would love to come back and rent this unit again.

"We have been planning this trip to celebrate our 40 yrs of marriage & turning 60 yrs old since last February 2018. We enjoyed this stay tremendously and appreciate the owner, Patience Rodriguez,for taking such good care of the condo. It was clean and well equipped!
The only thing I would suggest would be to update the comforters on the beds and replace the front screen door to make it more updated. These are clearly just cosmetic changes but it would make a visual difference.

"My family and I stayed at Loggerhead Cay #224 in April of 2018. The property was well maintained and easily accessed. We would have liked to have a closer view of the ocean, but the unit made up for this detail in its decor and comfort. The third floor location was quiet and allowed us to view the well-kept grounds and swimming pool. Everything we required to enjoy our stay was provided. The management company was terrific. I really can't think of any negatives and I wouldn't hesitate to rent #224 again.

"Beautiful condo with a view of the ocean. It was very spacious and fit my family of 5 great. If we have another baseball tourney in Ft. Myers again, I plan on renting this unit again.

"Stayed June 24th for 1 week. Apartment is in a lovely, well maintained site. It was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed to meet all our needs including beach furniture. It overlooks the pool and has a good view of the ocean. Sanibel is beautiful. No more needs to be said. I only spoke to the team from Select Vacations on arrival and departure however I feel that they where engaging and approachable and would sort out any problems you might have very quickly... We had none!! Overall I would recommend and I would stay again....

Relaxing by the sea

"This was our first time staying on this part of the Sanibel Island. We loved the convienence and location. In 7 days we only left the island only twice which really added to the relaxation and comfort. Beautifully landscaped property, clean and well maintained.

A Perfect Week!

"This week was our final week with our kids before they head off to college. We had a great time at the beach and playing games in the condo. This condo was the most stocked one we've ever rented before. The kitchen was awesome and the extra blankets came in handy when tired and chilled from a long day at the beach. I can't say enough how appreciative we were to have the 5 beach chairs, towels and umbrella to use for the week. We didn't have to haul all of that down with us and it was wonderful. Thanks for a great week!

Short Stay in Paradise

"Our experience started with the email conversation with the owner. He was prompt in his replies and quickly scheduled our time there. The property company was also quick in getting the needed forms to us to secure the rental. This property was just as lovely as the pictures and the view was even better. The property was very clean and well appointed with everything that you need for an extended visit. You didn't even need to bring beach items such as chairs or umbrellas, that meant getting right out on the beach without delay. We really only had 2 small issues with the property. The door was very hard to close from the outside as it was very tight due to the humidity. This was mentioned to the property company at the time of check out. It probably just needed shaved just bit and would be just right. Also there were so many remotes it was hard to figure out which one to use. Would recommend, if possible, a single universal remote. Otherwise, we had no complaints and felt right at home immediately upon arrival. Our only regret was that we had to leave. You are located close to many of the shops, restaurants and other amenities. If you choose this property, you will NOT be disappointed. I would recommend this property to anyone traveling to Sanibel and look forward to our next trip here so that we can stay here too!!

Loggerhead Cay Stay

"We stayed at Loggerhead Cay for the 7th or 8th time over the winter break and had a wonderful time. It was our first time in this particular unit and we were very pleased. Loggerhead Cay is a great location. Right on the beach, nice size pool and tennis courts. The buildings are well maintained. We have stayed in a number of condos on the property and always had an excellent experience. The staff at Select Vacations are wonderful. This year we worked with Linda. We originally booked a different rental at a facility that had three bedrooms, which we thought was a good idea for our family of 5 and growing teens. Our kids had a mutiny and insisted we stay at Loggerhead Cay in a two bedroom with all the familiar amenities that we have come to love. Linda was great at switching the renatl, without any hassles. The particular unit we stayed in even had sand toys and tennis racquets for guests to borrow. Overall, a fabulous stay and we would happily work with Select Vacations again, as we have done for almost 10 years.

Escaping the cold

"The unit was exactly as it was portrayed; the beds were excellent, the location was fabulous, the grounds were very well maintained. Having rented VRBO units all over the country I might suggest that some additional items be supplied for the kitchen and bathrooms that have been included in many past rentals i.e. shampoo, herbs and spices, plastic wrap or baggies - just little things that are very wasteful to buy for a week but make a nice, inexpensive difference to guests.

"Our week on Sanibel was the best! The condo was very clean and we loved everything about it. Well stocked with towels and chairs for the beach. The lanai had a great view of the pool and gulf and it was wonderful just to sit out on it every morning with our coffee. Weather was also great, so couldn't ask for more.
