Nestled amidst pristine white sands and crystal-clear waters, this vacation haven offers breathtaking views and unrivaled amenities. Every moment spent in Beach Villa 2424 is like a dream come true, making it the ultimate destination for your well-deserved escape.

This 2 bedroom, 2 bath Gulf-front retreat is beautifully appointed with newer furnishings and mattresses and is fully stocked with everything you need to make your stay more enjoyable. Have meals on the spacious lanai as the sun sets over the horizon, or enjoy the quirky Island vibe of Captiva Island's unique restaurants, bars, and art galleries located just a short walk away. This property is on the 2nd floor, which gives you expansive views but is close to the elevator for your convenience.

Please be aware that accommodations booked through third-party agencies do not have full access to the amenities within the South Seas Resort, ie no trolley, main pool, beach chairs, and cabanas, or kids programs, on-site restaurants, or ice cream shop. "We really enjoyed our time at the property—great location and a relaxing atmosphere. The staff was helpful, and it’s clear that work is underway to bring South Seas back to its full potential. That said, the twin beds were extremely uncomfortable and made sleeping difficult. For the price point—especially considering it’s higher than previous stays—we expected a bit more comfort, especially with the ongoing renovations still in progress. Only one pool was open, which we knew before booking. Overall, it was a good visit. You can’t beat the private feel of this place. It’s like our own little island with hardly any people around.

"Very clean and updated Villa, view fantastic. Beds comfy. Kitchen well equipped with pots and pans, no plastic storage or bags or wrap. Beach gear in good shape and located in ground floor locker. Don’t forget to ask for the code. Laundry also ground floor not in Villa. Obvious damage remains from hurricanes on the grounds but they seem to be rapidly working on it still.

"Our condo was perfect! Clean and had everything we needed for a week long vacation. We loved having the pull out sofa so that we could spread out and have plenty of room for our family of five. Beach was beautiful and our kids enjoyed the pool. Select Vacation Rental staff was extremely responsive and helpful when needed...like when we wanted to extend our vacation and extra night because we just didn’t want to leave. We had a great time in a great condo.

"Our condo unit was fantastic, clean, beautiful view, plenty of light, comfortable bed. Beautiful pool and of course beach. We re-booked for next year.

The elevator was out of service which was tough checking in and out but we managed. In both bathrooms there is a part missing with the sink drainage capability that should be checked out.

The Best Beach Villa Rental!

"My family had the best week in Captiva! The rental has an amazing ocean view and is just steps from the most beautiful beach. It is clean and perfectly furnished for 6 guests, with everything you need to be comfortable. It is also just steps away from the Starbucks, Doc Fords, and the convenience store at the entrance to the South Seas Island Resort. They had beach essentials for our long days at the beach, including a boogie board and sand toys for the kids. We sat in the screened porch every evening watching the most stunning sunsets, after a full beach day where we would see dolphins, manatees and manta rays swimming just steps from us. We will absolutely be returning to Captiva Island and will stay again at 2424 Beach Villa.

"Perfect size condo for our family of 4. We have stayed at South Seas for many years, and the Beach Villas are some of the most spacious. We do not miss the amenities of the resort which you do not have access to with this rental. Short walks to beach and pool. Also many stores and restaurants walkable or a short bike ride! Walked to Bubble Room, Doc Ford’s and RC Otters. Favorite thing was our walk to Starbucks for coffee every morning! Only thing I wished was that there were more shady spots at the pool!

"Checking in was smooth even after normal business hours. The property was very clean and well maintained. The management service was very attentive. We inquired about beach chairs and umbrellas in the morning and we able to enjoy in the afternoon. The beds were very comfortable. Slept better than at home. The weather was absolutely perfect!

"We were looking for a beach experience that was a little slower paced and found it! The view from the condo was beautiful. We loved the screened in lanai to enjoy the views. Although we had a rental car, we were able to walk to the closer restaurant and shops.

"Condo was in prefect location , nice updated and prefect for family of 4. Loved everything about that. Condo was clean when we arrived, but when we walked into condo it had a terrible fish odor. Thought it was from the previous visitors but had terrible getting rid of the smell. It got better over the week but wasn’t great. We ended up buy frebreeze plug ins that helped a little. Hot water only lasted for 1 -2 people at end of the day. Was nice to have use of the locker for beach items! Would be nice to have a keyless enter or more keys. Condo had only 2 keys and with 4 of us ( 2 teenagers) it was a pain shuffling keys around.

"This condo was sparkling clean! Everything you needed for cooking in the kitchen (you'll need to bring spices, salt and pepper, etc. no food items left behind) We enjoyed the views. Be aware that if you're renting via a 3rd party, you don't get the wrist band that allows access to the beach chairs, trolley, golf etc. but you do have full run of the beaches and areas. Great Doc Ford's restaurant within walking distance. We rented a golf cart (although not necessary) and just double check that the internet/tv issues we experienced are fixed. We couldn't 'work' since it was too slow, but should have been fixed by now, it was over the Xmas holidays. Plenty of towels. Felt comfortable and safe. Only gave it a 4 in overall satisfaction due to the internet/tv issues. Management company very professional

Just what we needed

"Clean condo, had everything we needed in the kitchen, resort property was maintained and kept nice, furnishings were fine, had plenty of towels. Only draw- backs were: coin laundry (didn’t realize this when booking), internet is a little slow, the furniture in the master bedroom had a strong musty smell, and the TV’s were a little fuzzy. Overall a great condo- loved the location- just what we wanted- a beach that wasn’t super busy.

Perfect Get Away

"We couldn’t be more pleased with our decision to stay in this beach front villa. The property was in great shape and had everything we needed for our stay. Our kids enjoyed the access to the 2 pools and the short walk to the beach. We visited the marina where there were dozens of manatees and a playful dolphin gave us a visit on our walk. The sunsets from the beach and the villa were amazing! A close walk to the general store, Starbucks, and shops. A bit of a drive up the island, but being in a secure gated property was a big plus. Check in and check out was a breeze. We would definitely come back!

"Another excellent vacation at 2424. This was our second stay there. A perfect two week get-a-way to wrap up the year. Every phase of the vacation was perfect. From the easy rental procedure to the drop off, Chris kept us in the loop on everything. We really enjoyed ourselves. It was great.

Late July stay, family of 5

"We have stayed at this Captiva spot for several years and this is the first time we have used Select Vacations Properties. The reservation process is very smooth and the communication with the staff is great. The location to their office is very central, located the Bailey's supermarket plaza in Sanibel. Any of the staff members will be at the office or on call to attend to your needs. Once we had the keys, we were ready to go spend our week with our three small children. Once we entered the condo, we did have some issues with cleanliness and condensation and right away we called Patience who is the property manager. To be honest with you, the customer service that we received from her staff and Patience was exceptional and very high standard! Patience was so professional on the phone and extremely willing to resolve any and all issues. She drove from her home, which was a good distance away, to get what ever we needed to resolve our problems. We had left to have our ritual family dinner on our first night & Patience came with all the supplies needed, PLUS more! It was like night and day! Our whole outlook with the condo changed because of Patience's amazing character to take control of the situation. For this action, I truly thank her and the staff at Selection Vacations. Aside from the minor inconvenience, we did manage to have a lovely time! We did experience the red tide algae but we will know for next time to check the tide issue. In all, we will definitely contact Patience and her team for any future reservations. Thank you so much! We will see you guys again soon!

"Captiva was beautiful. The beaches were amazing. The condo was well equipped and clean. However, it is ready for an update. The furniture and overall condition were a bit dated, and a bit musty smelling. We booked on VRBO and were not prepared for additional resort fees at South Seas Resort. The additional fee to use pools, beach equipment, water slide, etc. was $150 per person/per day. Despite this setback, the management company was very helpful.

"Kitchen is equipped with everything you need. There is no washer/dryer inside unit nor is there any storage unit for beach accessories. 2 small beach chairs and 4 towels in closet. Parking is in the lot. Ample sleep space but beds are on the softer side and bedding is extremely heavy. Pool area is very nice but provides no shade. Beach was very clean and never overcrowded. Location is just inside the gated south seas plantation with a terrific ocean view but not the most quiet place with all the workers during the day and lots of children running around.

The Perfect Captiva Getaway

"Having previously been to Captiva on multiple vacations, we knew exactly where we wanted to be in South Seas for a one week December escape. We found Villa 2424 on line and felt the price to be comparable to past stays. The arrangements with the Reality company made the lease & picking up the keys, a breeze. We found the unit to be exactly where we hoped to be and set up perfectly for our needs. There were two bedrooms but we only needed the one. The unit was clean & well maintained. We found the book the owners provided on things to do helpful, even though we knew the area well. We could walk into town to take advantage of the restaurants & bars without concern of driving or parking. Other nights, we grilled by the pool after sunsets. Weather was perfect and we highly recommend the unit.

Captiva Vacation - Great Trip

"Select Properties was very easy to deal with; very accommodating. The rental unit was clean, modern with great views of the sunsets over the Gulf. We are also conveniently located close to the resort entrance...which provided easy access to restaurants and activities. Renting a golf cart for the week was the 2nd best decision we made. Had a great time and found a new hobby - shelling.

Captiva is wonderful

"We loved our stay at villa 2424 of South Seas resort.
The condo is right between two pools, has easy beach access and view. The bedrooms are on the back and make for nice sleeping, while the living room is bright and oceanfront!

"Very clean unit, has everything you need for a comfortable stay. View was great and easy walk to beach, pool, shops, restaurants. The only issues were with the noise from the elevator that can be heard from the master bedroom, as well as the noise from the people walking above us, which is obviously out of anyone's control. We could have used a few more pillows as well- other than that it was great!

First Time to Stay on Captiva

"We usually stay on Sanibel so this was a new and good experience staying at South Seas Resort on Captiva. We really enjoyed watching the Osprey family in the nest on the pole in front of the Villas. The spectacular sunsets are more visible here and we saw a green flash for the first time from our lanai. The proximity of good restaurants within walking distance gave us a chance to eat out more than we usually do.

A Place on the Gulf

"Lovely vacation in a warm, clean nicely furnished 2 bedroom condo. We looked right over the Gulf, beautiful sunsets right outside our screened in porch every night. A Osprey nest right in front of the condo provided all the excitement we needed. Several good restaurants minutes away were the cheery on top. Only fault we could find was the absence of grab bars in the bath made it an adventure for these old folks to shower.

"We had a great week! The kids loved the ocean. We saw dolpins one day and manatees the next just off the beach. The pool was great as well. We ate breakfast and lunches in the very clean condo and were able to walk to all the great restaurants (Mucky Duck, RC Otters, Bubble Room, etc.). The condo was in perfect shape, very clean with a great view of the ocean.

Two Weeks in Paradise

"We just returned from two weeks at this very nice condo located right on the beach. The 2BR condo was perfect for us -- clean and well-appointed. Its location could not have been better. It was near tennis, the pool, one of the best restaurants in town (Doc Ford's), and easy walking distance into the center of town and all of its funky eateries. We met up with several friends during our stay and it all made for a wonderful vacation. Highly recommended.
