Great condo near beach!

"Great condo near beach! Loved the complex. Select Vacations are super easy to work with. Only negative, renters are not allowed/given a key for the condo’s mailbox. We wish we had been told in advance that renters cannot receive forwarded mail there. It was a big hassle and took 4 days to eventually get our mail after it was delivered to the condo mailbox.

"The condo was clean, comfortable and in a great location for beach activities. I love a porch and this unit has one with a slice of the ocean view. We brought our own fan after reading some of the previous reviews. A ceiling fan on the porch would be an awesome addition. There is construction ongoing at Compass Point so just be aware that it can be noisy if you are enjoying the porch. The bed was very comfortable as well as the couches in the living room. The kitchen was well stocked if you want to cook and eat in. We love staying in this area of the island. You are close to shopping, groceries, and restaurants. I will suggest that the owner supplies details about where to put the trash. The recycling cans are easy to spot but we had to visit Island Vacations to inquire about trash. The people at Island Vacations are always accommodating and easy to work with.

"We stayed a week at this condo. It was everything we expected from the description and pictures. The only thing extra we would have enjoyed was a fan on the deck. There is only a small view of the water, but I was aware of this when booking. I would not hesitate to rent this unit again. I was very comfortable there and had about everything I needed. There were items to take to the beach included plus great beach towels. The cleaning staff does a great job. I loved working with Select Vacation Properties. I had great service from them. Also the keyless locks were wonderful. You did not have to keep up with a key while on the beach.

"Our family has celebrated birthdays and anniversaries for nearly 40 years on Sanibel. We returned this year to celebrate my wife’s 75th birthday. The island is returning, slowly, but our accommodations at Compass Point was exceptional. The beach was perfect, the condos very nice, and although there were a couple of glitches, Select Vacations dealt and resolved them expeditiously! Everyone was pleased. We are booked for next year! Highly recommend! Also enjoyed Cielo’s, Island pizza and Doc Fords!

Excellent condo

"The minute we walked into Compass Point 201, we said “wow, this is a very nice condo.” It was very roomy and well laid out, clean, had a well-stocked kitchen, a linen and towel closet with plenty of towels and extra linens, a closet full of beach equipment and toys, lots of games and puzzles for those rainy days or just hanging out in the condo. The three sofas were spotless and very comfortable and there were plenty of dining room chairs to accommodate 6 to 8 people. There is tile or bamboo flooring throughout which is very nice when one is at the beach (instead of carpet). We typically buy inexpensive flip-flops to wear inside any rental unit, but there were a few times when I walked around in my bare feet and my feet did not get dirty so the floors are cleaned very well by the cleaning staff.. Compass Point sits in a good location, we found a lot of nice shells on the beach, and their boardwalk has two areas with showers and hoses to rinse off when you come back from the beach. We would not hesitate to stay at this condo or this complex again. This was our first time using Select Vacation Properties and we would definitely use them again. We really like their keyless entry setup and all information is sent via email. Their staff was great to work with.
