"We had an amazing stay at this condo in Sanibel, Florida! The location is excellent, with easy access to the beautiful Gulf of America and its calm, crystal-clear waters. It was the perfect place to relax and spend quality time with family.

The condo was spacious, comfortable, and never felt overcrowded, giving everyone plenty of room to unwind. The peaceful atmosphere made it easy to enjoy the beach, watch the sunsets, and simply recharge. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway in a beautiful setting with plenty of space and an unbeatable location, this condo is a fantastic choice. We would definitely stay here again!

"We are repeat guests at Sanddollar A202 and had another great stay. The condo is beautifully furnished, has an amazing gulf front view, and an additional storage space with chairs, beach toys and accessories, and a nice place to keep fishing equipment. Appreciate the new boardwalk out to the beach! Select Vacation Propertiees staff were very professional and helpful. They were always friendly, responsive, and quick to provide missing items when requested. We have reserved the same time next year.

"90% perfect!
Only a few requests, although there were grab bars IN the shower, a vertical bar getting out of the shower would be a real plus. A hand held sprayer would also be a plus. Lastly, the lanai table chairs were really low and the beach chairs, ouch, no way. Can you tell we are a little older? LOL

"The views from the condo were amazing. The condo was well equipped, very clean, and very centrally located.
We were able to get around using the bikes we rented and barely drove our car. We had plenty of beach things at place and did not have to make any purchases. I would highly recommend staying here. And more to the point - renting with Select Vacation Properties!

"I am PICKY about where we stay on vacations. We like very clean, very comfortable, spacious, & quiet for a family of 4. I do a lot of research before renting any place. This condo is exactly as pictured & described. If anything they undersold how nice it actually is. The appliances and beds are all high-end, and appear to be very new. The kitchen was well stocked with nice cookware and knives. Plenty of plates and drinkware. The refrigerator has an automatic ice-maker. The unit was very clean. All white furniture! In a rental!?! We had two adults, 16 and 11 year old boys in the unit. There was plenty of room to add a few more. Two bathrooms is key to living with boys. The large bedroom with attached bath is huge. And the shower is very nice. Both the living room and the large bedroom have full width opening glass doors to the lania.
Beach access is right outside the door. Gorgeous sunsets right outside the condo on the beach. Lots of privacy on the lania.
We rented bikes for the week from Billy’s. In the beach closet we found a skim board, beach toys, paddle ball, tennis rackets, beach chairs. We also donated 3 brand new boogie boards we bought when we arrived. There were never any waves the whole week we where there. Including on Captiva! The pool is very small. But most condo pools are in Sanibel.
The condo grounds were impeccable. There was a person there cleaning every day. The grills were spotless. The location on the island is very good. We biked to Joeys Custard & Bailey’s grocery store (2.6 miles away).
Captiva was a fun day trip to Bowmen’s beach and the Bubble Room for lunch. Highly recommend the seafood salad and the chocolate cake. We also liked the Lazy Flamingo on Sanibel. We were very disappointed with the food & service at Wendy & George’s Sanibel grill. The mgmt co was excellent to work with. I highly recommend them. We had one issue & they resolved right away.

"We have stayed at Sanddollar for close to 40 years every summer and keep coming back to these condos. This year we stayed in A 202. I love the A Building because it is quieter. This unit has 3 functioning bedrooms, which is a plus. It has some renovations to keep it fresh. The balcony view is just great of the beach. The master bed was wonderful!

"We have stayed at Sandollar before loved the complex. It was a little different with the COVID19 restrictions; however, We had a great time. The beach was never crowded like the ones where you have giant high rise condos behind you. We spent hours playing in the surf. The older boys loved the bedroom with the Murphy beds. We were less than 3 miles from Bailey's or Jerrys grocery stores. If we needed something fast, Bailey's runs a mini mart right down the street in the Sundial complex. Too many Root Beer floats and pieces of Key Lime pie. We will all have to diet when we return home.

"Came from the UK and had a most wonderful stay on this fabulous island. The condo was very clean and well equipped, with comfortable beds and 2 spacious bedrooms, the 3rd probably most suited to children rather than adults. Enjoyed fabulous view from veranda. Located with easy access to a stunning beach and also lovely private pool and bbq area with excellent, clean communal bbqs. Near to a brilliant supermarket and great cafes and Joeys custard ice cream. Also close to Baileys tract , a fabulous wildlife area. Staff at select vacation were extremely welcoming, and most helpful with any queries. Had the best holiday with our family and made so welcome by the locals. Wonderful!!!!

One of the most beautiful and relaxing beaches in the country

"The view was amazing, especially at sunrise. Shell hunting was the best I've seen anywhere in the world, from Hawaii to the Tuscan coast. Kids spent the day collecting starfish, conchs, and sand dollars by the dozens; diving in the calm shallow waters. Tide pools offered a safe space for our toddler to play. Shore birds came in numerous varieties. Shore fishing yielded catfish, redfish, permit, (small)black tip reef sharks, sea trout, sheep head, Spanish mackerel, and others. We could also watch lagerhead turtles and dolphins less than 50 yards from shore at high tide. Condo price was reasonable for the experience. We would definitely do this again.
While the beach experience was amazing and beautiful, and the condo was clean and spacious there are a few things to note:
1. The owners are in direct control of your air conditioner. If you don't close a door just right, so that it lines up two metal strips, they shut it off for up to two hours at a crack. It took us a bit to realize this as it was not clear in the literature.
2. There are quiet hours from 11pm to 9am but these do not apply to maintenance who may be utilizing power tools above your head as early as 7:30am nor the grounds keepers who may start mowing as early as 8am. We're not partiers and we get up early so this didn't bother us but it might bother some.
3. While the condo itself was great for our family of 7, several guests made it quite clear that our kids were not welcome at the pool, in any of the public areas, nor for that matter at the beach. This is not the fault of the owner and we blew them off but be aware, some people come to get away from kids so you may have to deal with scowls, comments, etc..
4. Last, we felt there was an unreasonable expectation that we wash our own beds before we left.
Regardless, once we had these things figured out, none of this ruined a spectacular vacation. We've already recommended this property to several friends.

"-Great Location, Clean and well maintained, and the most comfortable beds ever in a rental! Amenities were just right for our needs. Grilling area was clean and excellent... If we come back to Sanibel we would definitely stay here again.
-Pool was a little small, and no-see-ums are rampant so definitely use bug spray in the pm's. We were attracted by the picture on VRBO which showed a direct path to the beach but that wasnt the case, felt like that was a little misleading.

Missing some simple things...

"We stayed at this apartment in Sanibel with 6 people for 7 nights over Christmas.
The location is good, a very short car or bike ride to the main drag, and even bikeable to Captiva.

The space is laid out well so it very comfortably fit our group.

Our main gripe with this listing is that it lacked very basic small amenities. When we arrived on the first night, tired from traveling and eager to clean up before bed, we found that there wasn’t any shampoo anywhere, just a couple of bars of cheap soap. Following that same trend, there were only four rolls of toilet paper in the entire place, so with a group our size (which was still smaller than what the listing says it can hold) we ran out very quickly and had to buy our own.

The kitchen wasn’t very well outfitted either, in that we were only given a small bottle of dish soap and had to buy our own sponges in order to do dishes.

Overall we enjoyed our stay here, but spending $20 more on making the place liveable for VBO-ers would have made a huge difference.

"All positive. Great location, layout and overall condo fantastic. Carpet had some spots( one of problems of light colored carpet). Would recommend highly, staf at rental office made experience easy. Loved bike rental drop/pickup at condo.
