This two-bedroom, two-bath condominium with a den is a great luxury retreat.

The floor plan offers 1,554 square feet of just renovated total living area. With two bedrooms, 2 baths and a bonus den, there is plenty of space to live, work, entertain or just spread out. The view of Sanibel’s world class beaches from Compass Point 133 is unparalleled. Enjoy the view from the 250 square foot lanai which extends the entire width of the condo. This design opens up views of the gulf from the living area, kitchen, lanai and master bedroom! The lanai also features a spiral staircase which leads up to private the rooftop deck. The condo easily sleeps 6. The oversized master suite has a king bed, and more panoramic views of the beach and Gulf, closet, and an en-suite private bathroom with a large soaking tub & separate shower.
The guest bedroom also has a king bed and the converted den has two twin beds perfect for guests or kids. Both the guest bedroom and den are conveniently located near the guest bathroom. Compass Point 133 also has a laundry room with full sized washer & dryer.

The huge living area has space for the whole family, and the dining area is integrated as part of the open floor plan. The modern kitchen has a full stainless steel appliance package including a refrigerator and freezer, dishwasher, flat range stove, built in microwave, large sink, and more. The kitchen is of course fully stocked with modern countertop and hand appliances, dishes, glasses, utensils and cookware designed to accommodate nearly every need, even at maximum occupancy.

The Compass Point development is a mid-sized complex containing just 45 units in the community. Situated in the mid-island area of Sanibel, Compass Point is located directly on the beach with over 300 feet of frontage on the Gulf of Mexico. Built in 1979, the complex offers floor plans of over 1,500 square feet, as well as a heated pool, barbecue gas grills, elevators (operational in late April, 2024) and covered parking. The beach is just a short walk through the tropical landscaping down the boardwalk. The new Compass Point tennis and pickleball courts, as well as a basketball hoop, are located just across the street on the north end of the Compass Point complex (available mid-summer 2024). "We had a wonderful time in #133! They had everything we needed plus more! It was nice having beach towels they provided which made packing that much easier! The storage closet is down on ground level which had more than enough for a great day on the beach! The cart was awesome to move the beach chairs and umbrella onto the beach along with the coolers that were in there. There were kid sand toys also. Having the storage closet on ground floor was great because we didn’t need to bring anything back up into the condo. They are still doing work on other condos from the hurricane but nothing that was bothersome to us. It’s a beautiful condo and the beach view is amazing!

"The unit was great. Plenty of space and the access and contents of the storage closet on the first floor was wonderful. The upstairs deck was excellent - very much enjoyed The unit was very nicely appointed for our family. Beach access was very easy The beach wasn't crowded. We have had a family vacation on Sanibel for over 40 years and this is the nicest condo we have ever stayed in. The management company was very responsive and efficient. Even coordinating a repair to the elevator at 9:00 pm on Saturday 7/5.

"This condo was very comfortable for 4 adults and 2 children. It has been beautifully redecorated after the hurricanes. Our grandchildren squealed with joy when they saw their bedroom. Our granddaughter especially enjoyed the well loved Barbie dolls in the living room cabinet. The lanai was very comfortable with the seating and the view is stunning. I have been coming to Sanibel for many years and there is nothing not to like about this condo. These owners have thought of everything to make their guests comfortable.

"We loved our week at Compass Point 133! The property and condo were clean, well maintained and perfectly accommodated. The roof deck was an awesome addition that we loved! We would love to return and would not hesitate to rent this exact unit again. It was wonderful to have the storage locker available with beach gear, cooler, and chairs. Our only suggestions would be to upgrade the beach chairs as they have seen better days and provide bocce balls to use at the awesome court on property.

"Fantastic week on Sanibel! Weather was perfect; condo was beautiful; Select Vacation Properties was very helpful and communicative. We had reserved a condo in another complex; getting down to the wire we found out it might not be ready for our week--here comes the anxiety... Then Kelly provided a few other options to choose from and we ended up staying in a new (to us) complex, and the condo exceeded expectations. Great condo layout--the rooftop access was a wonderful bonus. Select Vacations made check in/out easy and convenient and made sure we had the information we needed ahead of time. "Unit 133 is a beautiful unit. We would definitely recommend it. I do hope they think about drapes/blinds in the living room. We also would suggest some type of community cart/wagon to use for hauling your belongings from the car to the condo in fewer trips upon arrival and departure.

"Our family has celebrated birthdays and anniversaries for over 35 years this special week in July. We returned this year, missing 2023 due to Ian. I found our units at Compass point on February and booked them through Select Vacations. We were very pleased. Units were beautiful and although there was 1 maintenance glitch, it was corrected expeditiously. The island is coming back, but much remains. But on the whole my family’s love for Sanibel was renewed!

"We had the best time ate Compass pointe 133. The condo was so nice and clean and had ample space for my family. We loved the large patio with its amazing view of the beach! The condo was well stocked with everything we needed to make meals. We loved the beach accessories available in the storage closet. And being right on the beach was amazing! "This was our 37th year traveling to Sanibel-Captiva for our summer vacation. The vacation rental was awesome. We experience some construction noise from other units that they are still being renovated/rebuilt after hurricane Ian in 2023.

"We loved the location of our Sanibel stay! It was great to be back on Sanibel and gulf front. The condo is well appointed, and still in the process of being updated - with some blinds needing hung, and items on the porch needing updated. . We did have some maintenance issues while there - staff good about responding, but were delayed due to holiday. Because of Hurricane, no-see-ums are very prevalent as well as other bugs this summer.

"The property is beautiful and well maintained. Really appreciated the beach wagon, chairs, etc. that were available for our use. Very well stocked kitchen. Only thing my family would have preferred is softer beds/mattresses and king size pillows on king sized beds. However, this wouldn’t stop us from staying at this property again.

Anniversary Delight

"We always knew we would celebrate our 40th anniversary on Sanibel but we didn’t plan on a hurricane doing the damage it did to the island. We’ve been vacationing on Sanibel for the last 17 years and have stayed in several different locations on the island. We have never stayed in a place with an ocean view and the view from this condo is breathtaking. The condo is beautiful and the furniture is comfortable. The porch was my favorite spot! The kitchen had everything We needed and more. We didn’t visit the pool but it looked great. There was a storage room on the ground floor that had everything you’d need for the beach. One elevator was working and that was nice but we used the stairs quite a bit. Even with all the work taking place on the island the noise was never a problem. I can only make positive remarks about this property. It was a perfect week.

"We were so excited to be returning to Sanibel! Fortunately, even though the condo we originally rented at a different complex was not available due to ongoing construction, SVP was able to offer us a range of alternative properties from which to choose. The Compass Pointe complex is conveniently located in about the middle of the island. We had a stunning view of the gulf from #133. The lanai is large with a table for 4 as well as comfortable loungers. A real added bonus is the spiral staircase from the lanai which leads to the rooftop where we watched the full moon rise over Ft Myers Beach and could see beautiful sunset colors to the west. There are even chairs up there to facilitate stargazing.
The bedrooms were spacious, especially the master, and its bathroom was large with a beautifully tiled shower and tub area. The second bathroom was also nicely tiled and decorated though much smaller. Having a king bed in both bedrooms was a bonus as well. The third "bonus" room has 2 twin beds and is smaller yet, ok for kids.
The kitchen was the most well appointed of any condo we have seen and the openness to the dining table and living room facilitated conversation and allowed a view to the gulf. Washing dishes is just less painful when you can see the ocean!
We have rented many times from SVP and they once again proved to be excellent at problem solving and overall communication. A few issues with the ongoing construction at the complex were acknowledged and addressed very nicely. Sanibel is recovering from hurricane Ian and is in much better shape than a year ago (we stayed on Captiva for a week in 2023) and with more time it will only improve. If you want a great Sanibel experience, rent from SVP and consider this property.

"Compass Pointe was the perfect beach get away for our family. The unit was clean and well stocked for a comfortable and relaxing stay. the ocean view from the lanai and sun deck couldn't have been better. The pool was beautiful and well kept despite the active construction work. The elevators were not working yet, and the stairs were a workout. Also the no-see-ums were active, even on the lanai --bring bug spray.

"We had an incredible time. The unit was clean and comfortable. The view and location were perfect. There was a window slat broken in one of the twin bedrooms and we called about it on the weekend when we got there but no one ever came to fix it. We put some paper in it to hold it up so you could close it. But, overall it was great.

"This is a beautiful condo right on the beach. Short walk to the shore and has great wash-off area. Everything worked wonderfully and the amenities were great. Seems to have been recently renovated. The rooftop deck was lovely, however, the gnats and no-see-ins can get you since those can’t be screened in! King bed is very firm. Two twins were very comfortable and the other two were very springy and hard.
