"This was our second stay at Island Beach Club, although our first stay in this unit. Our last visit was just before the last major hurricane, so we were excited to see things back up and running on the island. I was glad to see JRod’s and the other ships still in business. This unit was right next door to where we stayed last time and had same layout which we liked. It is very well appointed with nice, new furniture. The kitchen is modern and clean and had everything we needed to cook. Beds and linens were new and very comfortable. Love having separate laundry area in apartment. Although this unit is at the back of the property, you get a nice private garden view and can see the ocean from the kitchen and living room. The ocean front units and beach access stairs are still undergoing construction, but the noise wasn’t much of a bother. The beach is a short walk away and was clean and quiet during our stay. We didn’t use the pool much but it’s been refreshed since our last visit. Beach towels and beach cart and chairs provided were new and very convenient for setting up on the beach each day. We had dinner at Whicky’s Lighthouse Cafe and Tutti Pasta and both were good. Jerry’s grocery store down the street had everything we needed.

"The renovated condo was wonderful. We stayed at same condo in 2016, and it was in need of an update. New floors, furniture and mattresses on twin beds replaced. Was wonderful! Very complete kitchen, even had a Ninja Pro for smoothies, which was terrific considering the fresh fruit we got from the farmers market. Would certainly recommend Island Beach Club! The people are very friendly, and certainly a plus being able to share our vacation with our furry friend! she really liked being just steps to the beach/1

"Thank you for a perfect vacation! the condo was super clean, comfortable and beautiful!
I loved that they had a crockpot and every utensil you need to cook. Also, a vacuum cleaner like the one I have at home. The owners have pet beds and throws (thank you! we were amazed!!)
The view is so pretty! You get a partial view of the ocean, but also there is vegetation on the back, so you get to enjoy that, too. I loved the ceiling to floor glass!!!
The owners left their bicycles, and we got to enjoy a ride around the island. The location is perfect, just a 10 minute bike ride to the grocery store and restaurants.
There are gas grills, very easy to use.
Overall, we are impressed and already planning to come back to this unit ASAP! We already miss the island!

Excellent Location & Condo Complex

"The property location was very accurate. This complex is on beachside. This unit is only a short easy 2 min walk to beach through the complex. The pool was very nice. The elevator was very helpful to get our things up. The complex was quiet and well maintained. The floor plan for this unit was very nice and good use of space. Both bedrooms have on suite bathrooms. Master bath has tub/shower combination. 2nd bathroom has a remolded walk in shower. Furnishings were nice. Plenty of towels, dishes, pots and pans, silverware. Only surprise was no ice maker in freezer of refrigerator. Had to make ice with ice cube trays and purchased a bag of ice. We enjoyed the beach and restaurants. Loved the Sanibel Historical Village.

"Our stay at 220B was very enjoyable! Close to the beach and pool. I had a lovely view of the gulf as I was cooking in the kitchen! The condo was spotless, which is very important to me. The kitchen is well stocked. The only complaint my husband and I had was the king-size bed was uncomfortable. We both have issues with our backs, so it may be just us. Otherwise, this is a very comfortable condo. It was a real treat having our fur babies with us AND being able to take them to the beach. One of the highlights of my vacation was seeing our Schnauzer paddling around in the gulf! An unexpected bonus was the shopping cart found in the garage area for residents to use to bring their belongings up to the condo. It saved many trips after a long car ride and was much appreciated! The condo and the whole condo complex itself is well maintained.I definitely would recommend this vacation rental to my friends and family and would look forward to a return trip!

"Our experience was great from start to finish. We’ve stayed in the Island Beach Club many times before and this was one of our favorite units. Great for cooking as they have updated appliances and lots of key utensils. In storage there were lots of beach chairs and stuff for the beach which was great. The beds were comfortable as well. At Select, we spoke with Linda and Leanne several times, and they kindly communicated everything we needed to know before our arrival — from COVID state orders to condo entry. I will definitely use again and would highly recommend to anyone else.

"The condo was great with everything a family of 4 needed--and a dog. We arrived in the rain, and luckily the condo has it's own designated parking spot under cover, so unloading everything while remaining dry was possible. The king bed was comfortable and the two twin beds were great for the kids. The kitchen was stocked with every pot, pan, and utensil needed. Washer and dryer were great so we could do mid-week laundry. And the screened patio is very large with a nice table for 4 to enjoy a meal or happy hour without bugs. As we headed to the beach each day, we pulled our beach gear out of the large ground floor closet by the parking spot. The walk to the beach is easy and has a shower station to wash off prior to heading back for the day. The community pool was also a great place for the kids if the ocean waves were too rough. And we took advantage of the community gas grills to grill out for dinner. Overall, we had a great vacation and enjoyed #220B.

"This was our second stay at the unit. You can see the Gulf from the balcony so I like to read out there and gaze up at the Gulf. The unit had almost everything we would need for the beach vacation. The provided beach towels and the provided sand toys, beach chairs, pool noodles etc made it easy to come to the beach via a plane ride.

Paradise in Sanibel

"We had a wonderful time relaxing on the beach. We have been to Sanibel a number of times and this was no different then the ones before, perfect. We will be back again. The location is perfect. We rode bikes walked the beach and went to a number of different restaurants, a shout out to the Blue Giraffe, great service and great food.

"Loved how the condo was decorated; all of the beach items were wonderful!!! Master bath was a disappointment. Too small and needed a fan. Some electrical outlets didn't work. Extension cord behind master bed, guest room and kitchen outlets didn't work so lamps in master bedroom wouldn't come on. There were only 4 bath towels in condo so I had to go to property management office for more towels but I would stay there again.

"Very nice condo, clean, all essentials there. The only reason overall is 4 stars and not 5 is because the beds are like boards - so hard you cannot get comfortably and having 2 singles in the spare bedroom does not work for an adult. Maybe think about a full and a single. Also the shower heads need to be replaced - no pressure.

"Our stay at Island Beach Club 220B could not have been better! The condo was beautiful; open and airy as well as tastefully decorated. We appreciated the cleanliness of it as we were traveling with our dog. The grounds were beautifully landscaped. Coordinating our trip with Bob and Kerry was a pleasure. They answered all our questions and gave great suggestions for things to do. When visiting Sanibel again would love to stay here.

"The rental process was easy. Everything was as it was described on VRBO. The owner had a great response time. We would consider staying here again. It was nice to have the beach toys, chairs, umbrellas, etc. available for use. It is a residential condo community but the residents were all nice and polite. The central location made it easy to get to anywhere on Sanibel.

"Had a wonderful time.Wish everyone could see my grand children's faces as they experienced the ocean for the first time. The condo was comforting to come home to after a day of exploring.The location was quiet and yet close to every convenience. A sharp knife, a pasta pot or steamer pot along with a crock pot would have been an improvement in the kitchen.The owners thought of everything else even a beach umbrella and sand toys. We have been to Sanibel on 5 occasions and stayed at other places. This will be our new come-back place. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home!

"The location was great. I just wish the view was a little better. The furniture could be up dated and the mattresses need to be replaced. The beach closet was really bad. Everything was thrown in and has a musty smell. We didn't use any of it. On a good note... The DVD player was broken and someone came out the next day and replaced it. Great service!! Thank you for that! I found this place on VRBO and the owners were very nice. It's a pet friendly place and those are hard to find, so thank you for being pet friendly!!!!!!! :) Wish everyone one would be pet friendly...

"We absolutely loved this condo! It was beautiful and so roomy! The owners provided everything we needed right down to all the beach equipment and even a beach bag! The beach was incredible and literally steps from the condo. Lived the location of the condo as it was right in the middle of the island which gave easy access to both sides of the island and Captova. We will definitely return...LOVED IT!!

"Liked the condo, but the water pressure in the shower was low. Air conditioning was not uniform throughout the condo: cold in kitchen/living area; warmer in bedrooms. The mattress in the master bedroom was very comfortable, but the ceiling fan was noisy on high so we had to run it on medium. Condo was very centrally located.

"Overall: Absolutely loved this place! Would definitely recommend it and would come back again.
Pros: Super quick walk to the beach. Ocean is beautiful and was not overly crowded like other places we had heard of. Very pretty patch of beach with tons of shells. Quick drive to all the main places through town. Very convenient and relaxed vacation. Loved the screened in porch attached to the condo - spend a lot of time out there. Master bedroom is huge with a walk in closet.
Cons: Note that the building property is beachfront but the room is not, although it is only a 1-2 minute walk from the beach and very convenient. Furniture could use updating (but who spends time sitting on the couch all day at the beach so who cares?!). Bathrooms are small (also something I could live with). The only other (and worst) con is the company took too long to email us back about the rental -- definitely was not within 24h. Need to hire more staff to return all the calls. But it all worked out in the end and we were very happy with this place.

"My childhood friend and I enjoyed our Mothers Day on beautiful Sanibel Island. Our rental at the Island Beach Club was wonderful and relaxing. The Iinterior courtyard is beautifully landscaped and the pool is big and has some shady spots if you would like to be out of the sun. The elevators really help getting groceries into the condo. The ocean is only yards away and easy to get to from all the units. I would definitely go back. The condo was exactly like the pictures presented.

"We live in Uruguay but that was not an issue when trying to book the property. Everything went smooth and easy! The property rented was amazing! REALLY close to the beach and had all the amenities we needed.

"We have a fantastic stay at this wonderful rental.
The condominium was beautifully appointed, neat and very clean. It had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed many dinners out on the screened porch, the wonderful shuffle board while grilling and being right on the beach.
We were also thrilled that the owners allowed us to bring our Golden Retriever making our vacation the best!
This condo is perfectly situated on the island. It is in a private setting but easily accessible to everything. We biked to many coffee shops, restaurants, shops and attractions on the island.
Thank you so much for allowing us to stay at this wonderful paradise.

Perfect Family Vacation

"The condo was spacious, clean and well-furnished with everything we needed for a perfect family vacation: bikes, beach supplies, washer & dryer. Most days were spent on the beach, but the condo was convenient to all Sanibel has to offer. We visited Captiva, went kayaking, and explored the island. We would return and highly recommend to others!

"As a gift to myself, I stayed on Sanibel Island in a condo that was beautiful. My stay couldn't have been better - especially the location. The area was just what I was looking for. Did not run into anyone who was discourteous or mean-spirited. Everyone was kind and helpful. Met one lady at the condo who gave us fabulous recommendations. We tried may of them and found all to be right on target. I really have nothing bad to say at all about the condo, location, people - anything. Loved the birds, turtles, sailing, shelling. Thanks so much.

Beautiful Sanibel

"My family of four recently stayed at IBC 220B and had a great week. Sand dollars, sea stars and tons of shells to be found. The beach by the condo was great and surf was calm so kids and dog could swim. The condo was very clean, well appointed and convenient to everything you need on Sanibel. My kids loved the pool and we loved the covered parking and ground floor storage area for sandy beach toys, chairs, etc. We will be back again next year! Only negative is the no-see-ums can be pretty vicious during the warm months, so take care.
